I own Port Austin Kayak and Bike Rental. We are located in Michigan at the tip of the thumb. I rent kayaks by the hour, day and week. We deliver to houses and cottages. We provided guided tours. I am also part of the Tip of the Thumb Heritage Water Trail. I plan to kayak the entire trail during the summer of 2008 to do an inventory.

Chris, I was surprised to see no posts here at all. How long have you had this. I will need to rent a boat this weekend. What do you have in a single....Randy
Outside of Traverse City, this is truly one of Michigan's diamond in the rough. The scenic trail is not only breathtaking, but calm waters extremely conducive to even your novice kayaker (get the wife or kids started) - highly recommend the adventure.
Service was more than accomodating, and rates were surprisingly reasonable - we will be back next season!
